1. Is this a book about medieval times?
Yes and No. Part of the story is based in medieval times but a large part is based in a modern or a slightly future time.
2. Has it got any magic in it?
Hmmmm…. Most definitely.
3. Who are Robert W. Hickey and Bill Nichols?
Robert and Bill have written and created graphic novels and comic books for years including Arteest, Paradox Wars, Blood and Roses, StormQuest and Clay’s Way.
They have charted the course of Sketch Magazine for many years offering writers and artists a source for tips and techniques and they have traveled to many conventions talking to fans about their projects.
Camelot Forever is a natural move for both seasoned writers for a new adventure in prose format.
4. Alright, so what is this book about?
Camelot fell not only to outside forces, but from betrayal within… King Arthur appears in modern times, sent through time by his old friend Merlin from the moment of his defeat in battle. In modern-day Morgana LeFay has established a corporate empire whose true goal is to control all magic left in the world. Arthur discovers a network of modern-day knights, descendants from his original Round Table, allied against Morgana and waiting for the return of their king, a role Arthur is reluctant to take… Arthur remains pure of spirit and trusting, blind to the dangers of internal treachery and the modern world. Luckily, he has a detective on his side, the 12-year-old great-granddaughter of… Sherlock Holmes!
5. That sounds cool…so what’s the deal with all this artwork?
CAMELOT FOREVER was originally conceived as a comic book but over time it became much more and a novel gives us the format to expand the story. We had some of the character design work and a couple pages penciled we’ll be sharing this with our fans.
